2007 Lights and Decorations Contest Winners

1st Place - 5205 Cedar River

Phase 8

As we drove up to this house, we knew it would make it to the finals. We could hear Christmas music coming from the lawn and see all of the well-placed, animated lawn ornaments moving in precision. We rolled down the window to further take in the ambiance, and we were surprised by an unexpected visit from Santa Claus himself handing out candy to passers-by! The homeowners had made themselves part of the decorating by sitting out on their driveway, dressed as the jolly old man and his helper. We decided that this was the epitome of the season – decorating to the hilt AND generously giving time for the joy of others. We also felt that this is what living in Park Glen is all about. What a wonderful way to enjoy living in the best neighborhood in all of Fort Worth! Congratulations to the GRAND PRIZE WINNER!

This property's sheer beauty makes it worth noticing every year!

3rd Place - 8204 Mt. McKinley

Phase 6

The detail that the homeowners put into their decorating really made this a house to be in the finals. The red and white striped bushes and the wreaths hanging from each window by a beautiful red ribbon made a nice addition.
